Public Radio Proposal Packets

Challenge: Develop a packet to support public radio underwriting proposals.

Underwriting representatives needed a set of rate sheets to bring to potential accounts, tailoring each packet to the interests of the client.

As smaller full-color print jobs became more affordable, I emphasized color photographs and graphics.

Since radio is an aural experience, providing a set of captioned, behind-the-scenes photographs made a client feel like an ‘insider.’ That brought them a step closer to connecting with the underwriting representatives.

My vector map of the listening area demonstrated the reach of their message. Listener demographic chart updated periodically as we received new data. Title fonts matched our logo lettering.

All additional rate and sample message sheets used a similar layout with photos relating to the subject. Most of those photos emphasized listeners, members, volunteers, and on-air hosts – the people of public radio,
