Weekly Radio Program: Matinee
I was a solo production house for the Matinee, a weekly hour of show tunes. Digital music databases and metadata made a one-person show possible, allowing me to overlay and edit music, determine length to exactly fit a :59 time slot, and export playlists compliant with both industry standards (SX and BMI).
After writing my own scripts, I recorded each segment in one long take, cutting and pasting it to the right place withing the show with Adobe Audition.
I had collaborated with other SPR hosts to create their own show logos, and for Matinee I developed both a logo and a visual style based on the seats of a historic local theater.
Although I no longer maintain the website or provide support, the national version “Broadway Matinee” lives on with the Public Radio eXchange

Audiobook Narrator
Through Spokane’s Books In Motion audiobook publishers, I recorded several books available on Audible and Amazon. Please note I did not author any of these books, despite what other websites say.
I also recorded a few titles for the Spokane Public Radio program The Bookshelf, including “Song of the Lark” by Willa Cather.
